About this event
Join experienced community musicians Sarah Owen and Paul Wilson for these fun, open-access singing workshops. We will learn a selection of songs together which will culminate in a performance at Callington MayFest on Saturday 11 May. You don’t need to have any musical experience or be able to read music to join in.
All sessions will take place at the Callington Methodist Church School Room.
Refreshments available.
All bookings are ‘Pay What You Feel’ – you choose how much you would like to donate.
All support is highly valuable for enabling Callington Community Arts to offer these workshops each year.
Please note that you can only book one ticket at a time. To book more than one ticket requires separate bookings and payments.
Sarah Owen is a vocal coach, choir leader, composer, arranger and performer. Sarah’s approach, which is the approach taken by Wren Music as an artistic organisation, is to respond creatively to the people she is working with, using folk and world music to inspire people and celebrate cultural identities. Sarah particularly loves how singing can bring people together from all walks of life and build communities. She regularly creates her own bespoke arrangements for the groups she works with and often works with groups of people to write their own songs.
