About this event
You are welcome to enjoy our night of fine food wine and music in our sumptuous building. An evening not just for lovers but friends as well, but just so you know it’s limited to 55 tickets only. You will be greeted with a complimentary Gin and Tonic and the soothing sounds of our guest band for the evening comprising of no less than six troubadours . Hazaar all the way from far off Devon, a seasoned group of traditional musicians playing an intoxicating mix of Klezmer and modern music to soothe your soul and liven your spirits.
After you settle in and have a drink dinner will be served upstairs.
Our guest chef for the evening is Luc Wallace new on the Cornish culinary scene but has plenty of experience cooking classical British and European fare. spent the last two years working at one of Oxford’s most celebrated eateries The Magdalen Arms. Frequented by critics Jay Rayer and Giles Coren and having gained The Michelin Bib Gourmand this restaurant pushes the seasonal produce and nose to tail viewpoints that Luc has a big passion for. Before this he worked for Josh Eggleton of Great British Menu fame in Bristol. Luc’s menu has been designed around what is available from local producers as much as possible and includes many of his foraged delights. After dinner we will retire downstairs for an evening of music and maybe dancing depending on how full you are!
The bar will be open till midnight the fire will be alight and the curtains closed You can smooch on the sofas or sample our spirits at the bar. Either way its a great way to relax on a cold February eve with friends and lovers in a relaxed space that is all yours for the eve of San Valentino come join us Innamorato

Vegan Cavolo Nero Ribollita,
Bean and sourdough baked stew with braised cavolo
chilli and garlic

Fennel Polpette with Sorrel and Dandelion Broth,
Pork and fennel meatballs cooked in a sorrel
and dandelion broth with parmesan
Main courses
Vegan Rootatuja with Crispy Polenta and Vegan Mornay,
Local root vegetables cooked in a deep tomato sauce served with crispy polenta and hazelnut mornay.

Pollo alla Cacciatora Ballotine with Saffron Potatoes,
Chicken ballotine stuffed with anchovies, olives and truffle oil served with a rich tomato sauce and saffron potatoes

Vegan Ravioli San Giuseppe with Salted Caramel Ice Cream,
Pastry parcel of apples, pine nuts and prune with salted caramel ice cream
