Jane’s will be presenting her industrial style Lostwithiel studio at The Old Milk Factory with a tour of her large scale oil paintings – abstract figurative works which are part of Jane’s travel-led research painting practice.
After over a decade living and working in Singapore, Jane’s studio and travel art practice is now based in Cornwall.
Jane graduated from Arts University Plymouth with a research MA Painting (with distinction) in March 2023. Jane honed her research on abstract figurative painting and painting from the unconscious as ‘The Beauty Myth’
In 2024, Jane’s second year of MFA research journey at AUP continues as Perpetual States of Wanderlust ‘Women Who Walk and Painting as Pilgrimage’ and Jane fulfils 3 Individual Learning Objectives, building a discernible body of painterly output as an emotionally led topography and painterly language – influenced by the study of Ontology.
As co-founder of the Lostwithiel Artists Salon, with a summer and winter exhibition at Lambs Gallery in Lostwithiel, Jane welcomes you to her Lostwithiel studio at The Old Milk Factory over a long weekend.
