Jazz at The Poly is back – just not at The Poly! This special Poly jazz session is decamping to Emmanuel Baptist Church on Western Terrace, owing to ongoing building works in The Poly’s theatre.

Ed Jones comes to Jazz at The Poly supported by the exciting organ and guitar true made up of leading jazz players from the southwest.

Expect an exciting evening of jazz classics, enriched with the unexpected rhythms and harmonies of Ed’s original compositions, and including unique arrangements of classic songs. Definitely, an evening not to be missed!

Jazz saxophonist, composer and band leader Ed Jones has played extensively, nationally and internationally, with an impressive range of projects and artists – including jazz legends Horace Silver, George Benson, and Dianne Reeves. He’s also played with an impressive list of crossover artists like Incognito, Us3, Jamie Cullum, and R/B legends D’Angelo, Chaka Khan, Tina Turner, Carlene Anderson, and Omar.
