About this event
Jeremy Deller uses rare footage to trace connections between strike action, protest and political unrest and the acid house and rave culture of Britain in the 1980s and early 90s. The film documents Deller describing his version of this history to A-Level students in North London in 2018 and incorporates their reactions and questions.
Deller won the Turner Prize in 2004 and represented Britain at the Venice Biennale in 2013. He lives and works in London. Over the past three decades he has produced a number of remarkable large-scale public realm projects, exploring various facets of pop culture and history.
Jeremy Deller will give an artist’s talk at CAST on Wednesday 28 September, for booking information please click here.
