About this event

Kernow Philharmonic Orchestra make their first visit to St Endellion with a charming evening of music. The concert will open with two of England’s finest composers, Lennox Berkeley and Gerald Finzi.

The Serenade for Strings is one of Berkeley’s finest works, followed by Finzi’s charming Dies Natalis featuring tenor soloist Ben Hoadley. Kernow Philharmonic Orchestra will close the night with Mozart’s ever popular Symphony No 40.

Kernow Philharmonic Orchestra was formed in 2023 from some of the finest freelance musicians in Cornwall and have since given two highly successful concerts in Truro Cathedral. They will be conducted at St Endellion by their Musical Director John Longstaff.
