About this event
This autumn, the museum is hosting ‘Truro Open: Spirit of Cornwall’. This exhibition, featuring local artists, will be judged by a panel of well-known, local artists, including Natalie Day. Known for her ‘natural world’ art, Day will be leading a Mixed Media Landscapes workshop on Saturday 16 December.
Mixed-media Landscapes takes you into the world of mixing media to create abstract landscapes. As well as combining collage, painting, writing and drawing, you’ll get to explore natural pigments and make your own paints from the earth. These creative processes will come together to help you create artwork totally personal to you.
This is an experimental session where you are encouraged to be curious and inquisitive in your approach so you can create artwork unique to you with simple and fun methods.
This workshop is suitable for adults and all abilities, perfect for anyone who wants to widen their practice or try something new.
All materials and tea and coffee are included in ticket cost. For more information, please contact [email protected]
