About this event
With kind permission of Imerys, we are holding this one-off opportunity to explore different walks, as a fundraising event towards Wheal Martyn’s charitable work. We will meet at 10.45am at Wheal Martyn and start the walk at 11.00am.
Further details: Starting along the clay trails, we will then head off the public path onto the West Carclaze site and up to the highest point where the views over clay country and the St Austell coast are amazing. We can provide a packed lunch or bring along your own to enjoy whilst taking in the view. The walk will then continue through the woods and around the foot of Sky Tip, rejoining the clay trail back to Wheal Martyn where refreshments will be available to purchase. The walk will be approximately 4 miles long. Please dress appropriately for the weather, walking boots or sturdy footwear are recommended.
Packed lunches: £8.50 per person to include sandwich, crisps, fruit and drink
