About this event
Open studio show of limited edition bronze sculptures cast from clay, wax and honeycomb, and hand burnished and illuminated linocut prints; as well as work-in-progress inspired by bees and medicinal plants. My riverside studio is tucked away in a wooded coastal valley, walking distance from the south west coast path through leafy Cornish lanes.
Working in Britain’s rural West Country, my sketch books are filled with the flora and fauna of the surrounding landscape. I explore our native country lore, both ancient and emerging, integrating closely observed botanical and zoological studies with the rich language of our narrative traditions.
