About this event
AMATA’s talk series is a great opportunity to meet some of the artists that we will be working with over the forthcoming year. Find out about their current projects, inspiration and practice. Ask questions and share your thoughts in a live Q&A session, or just listen if you prefer.
Tonight’s featured artists are Roseanna Anderson and Joshua Ben-Tovim of Impermanence.
Impermanence meets audiences and engages with communities by producing, presenting, developing and touring dance. Using interchangeable leadership and collaboration to reframe, abstract and explore ideas inspired by historical research so that we might better understand the political, social and emotional human condition.
Based in Bristol, Impermanence is at the forefront of contemporary dance practice in the UK, working creatively with a wide range of collaborators and partners to produce exciting projects and new ways for people to engage with dance.=
Trailer from Impermanence’s new film BLAST, which takes its cue from the growth of radical ideologies and modern art in London, 1914: BBC Arts – New Creatives
