A thoroughly Bohemian evening of friends, food, music and dancing to the intoxicating songs of OPA ROSA at The Redruth Drapery. The food for the evening will be a middle eastern inspired offering from Fat Breads.

The Redruth Drapery proudly present OPA ROSA all the way from the far west city of Bristol to fill a social evening for like-minded people to gather dance talk sit in the garden, the kitchen will be open with some delicious snacks available. If you have not been to the Drapery before you will be pleasantly surprised, Our drinks are reasonably priced our space is comfortable and friendly and the music will be great so come join us for a bit of cheer amidst all this gloom in the world today.
Opa Rosa are an energetic quartet of Bristol-based instrumentalists. As skilled interpreters of music from the Klezmer, Balkan, Greek & Roma traditions, they are fast gaining a reputation as one of the city’s most dynamic and virtuosic bands. In their repertoire is a vibrant collection of melodies from all across the Balkans every detail and ornament of which is played with fiery precision. Opa Rosa’s masterfully arranged tunes capture all the joy and sorrow that these traditions are so renowned for expressing.
The Food from Fat breads a choice of meat or Vegan the menu will be,
Bhart Beef stew, broad beans, spring onion with sun-dried tomato cous cous with flat bread or Iranian stew, roasted sweet potato, chickpea, spinach in a tomato stock flavoured with dried limes with a herb and date cous cous with flat bread both served with a garnish of cucumber, tomato and red onion and slaw with a choice of yoghurt and mint and chilli and garlic sauce. Both £10 per head pay at bar.
