About this event
Within Printmaking, Peter likes to exploit the nature of the materials used in the creation of his printing plates. His work explores abstract and semi-abstract imagery through rich and exciting colour and surface texture, combined with a strong sense of composition and design. His original, limited edition prints can be found in corporate and private collections worldwide.
Peter’s Ceramics make use of the exciting, dynamic and unpredictable process of Raku, where he investigates the interaction between clay, glaze, fire, smoke and human intervention. His pots are rich in form, colour and surface and are both unique and innovative.
His collaborative paintings with partner, Judy Collins, are intriguing and original expressions of shared experience, depending on constant verbal and visual dialogue, whereby semi-figurative and robust images evolve via a ‘circuitous’ route unattainable by any other process.
Peter’s prints and collaborative paintings will be available at a discount for the duration of Open Studios.
