About this event
This artist is no longer taking part in Open Studios.
On one side of the studio is a stream, on the other side is a footpath, and you are invited to this beautiful spot on Bodmin Moor, during Open Studios from 28 May to 5 June. There will be paintings, drawings, sculpture, printmaking, poetry pamphlets and short films – work that is research-based, to do with place, folklore and memory; of living and working in Cornwall. There will be new work and a chance to see objects made during National Trust research projects and work from earlier exhibitions and installations.
I should also mention Tess, our Jack Russell puppy and the many moorland walks and beauty spots to be enjoyed. It is an area popular for walking, cycling and running. The lake has an excellent café, Olive and Co., open all day, with a circular walking route around the lake and Golitha Falls nearby is easily accessible by foot, bike or car.
