About this event
Rosanna Ceredig-Evans is the artist behind the brand ROSA Design. Featuring original hand painted artwork, textile design and illustration.
Rosanna grew up in West Penwith surrounded by abstract coastline, hidden coves and miles of moorland which has naturally influenced her style of work. Her love for painting started from an early age and after dedicating her studies to creative subjects throughout school in the UK and abroad she explored different pathways and textile techniques until graduating with a degree in Printed Textiles & Surface Pattern Design. Endlessly inspired by her love of travelling and time spent in Europe, Rosanna’s designs focus on fluidity and capturing movement with an emphasis of line throughout her work. Her colour palette draws inspiration from nature, the Mediterranean and cultural experience, capturing a contemporary narrative in each piece.
Predominantly working with watercolour, Rosanna also uses a range of other media including oil pastels, acrylic and ink to add texture and depth depending on the nature of the project.
In addition to selling her own artwork, Rosanna also collaborates with brands in many disciplines working on illustrations and surface pattern design for textiles, stationery, editorial, books and much more.
When visiting the studio, you will be transported to warmer climates through the uplifting colour palette and evocative imagery. Learn how initial ideas are developed into finished art works and designs.
