I am a professional artist and illustrator based in Cornwall. My work ranges from fantastic and fashionable to dark and suggestive. I seek to arouse, amuse and surprise in equal measure.
My paintings are expressive, decadent, playful, spontaneous and fun.
I am letting go of my demons, desires and passions without limitations.
I have a Masters degree in Fine Arts, studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Poland, and have worked mainly as an illustrator in the UK.
My art began in fashion, but branched out from squeaky clean editorial spreads and runway chic to seek out opera houses, crumbling theatres, brothels and fairytale forests.
I seek a femininity that is open and raw as an opium poppy but keeps grace and poise with Victorian formality.
Ultimately, I enjoy contrast. The more jarring, the better.
My studio is a reflection of me:
I tend to be surrounded by a halo of artistic detritus.
It is located in my garden in Comford near Gwennap.
You can come and be quiet or listen to music or birds, be loud, have a drink, discuss, laugh or be super serious.
I have over sixteen years experience in the industry and my clients include The Savoy, The Dorchester Hotel and Collection, Hilton Park Lane, TopShop, Arena Flowers, The Telegraph, The Wall Street Journal, Anna Karin Karlsson, Daks London, Wendy Rowe, among many others…
If you would like to see something different, crazy, fantastic, full of opulence, rather than Cornish abstract landscapes, my studio is the place to visit.
