About this event

Celebrating the traditions of mid Cornwall.

The Rescorla Festival is a month long celebration that takes place at a variety of venues in the mid Cornwall area culminating in the final weekend celebrations held at Rescorla. The festival includes music provided by a variety of groups as well as our own Kana Rescorla, songs, dance – especially the traditional ‘snail creep’, talks, dialect readings, introduction to the Cornish language, heritage walks and the traditional Tea Treat. We also have links with Wheal Martyn which includes a guided heritage walk and talk. Come along and celebrate the traditions, heritage and culture of the mid Cornwall area.

All of the festival events are free, however donations enable us to continue to support and grow the festival.
