About this event
Taking place on Sunday 23rd June from 11am – 4pm, this is a fantastic event for all the family, with garden tours and a fun-filled trail for little ones.
Visit Trenarth to enjoy a wonderful day out and support the work of Cornwall Heritage Trust, the small, independent charity whose mission is to protect Cornwall’s unique places, landscapes, traditions and communities.
Trenarth Farmhouse is a good example of a house expanding over the years. The oldest part is from the 16th century to the newest, 2001. Like the house, the garden has grown over the years and now sits in 4 acres. Here you will have plants that will intrigue you, views that take your breath away, and the odd odderty to make you smile.
Free garden tours by Lucie Nottingham, the owner, will take place at 12noon and 2pm. These can be signed up to on the day and places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
Ticket prices are £6 if pre-booked online and £7.50 on the door. Under 12s go free and do not require booking. Online booking will close at 12noon on the Friday before the event.
Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome.
Cakes and refreshments will be available.
Cut flowers and wildlife friendly plants from the Wild Botanic Flower Farm will also be on sale.
Last entry will be one hour before closing time.
Cornwall Heritage Trust’s Open Gardens 2024 is sponsored by Coodes Solicitors.
