About this event
Truro Volunteers Day will take place on Lemon Quay on Sunday 21 April from 11am until 3pm. The event will promote volunteering opportunities for those who are looking to give their time and energy to a suitable group that needs fresh ideas and more hands.
There is a very diverse list of groups attending including The Blood Bikes, Police Special Constables, Coast Watch, male and female choirs, Town Band, animal charities and youth groups such as the Army/RAF/ Marine/Sea Cadets.
Around 32 different groups are set to participate so it will be a good chance to find out about a variety of local volunteering opportunities in one place, on one day.
Truro Volunteers Day is being supported by Truro BID, Truro City Council and Truro’s Cornwall Councillors.
