About this event
For ten days in July 2024 (13th- 21st) Caroline Marwood and Kerry Grant will be at Zennor Village Hall, exhibiting their paintings which are influenced by the beautiful, ancient and mythical landscape which surrounds the venue. During the exhibition we will be offering a variety of artistic workshops to assist you to respond to this unique location.
Zennor is both a village and a Parish, located on the rugged north Cornish coast, 14 miles from Land’s End and 4 miles west of St. Ives. There is a regular bus service (16a) from St Ives and plenty of parking in the village. The parish consists of small fields strewn with granite boulders, meandering streams, dramatic coastal cliffs, and ancient hamlets. Cornish granite hedges cover the land, and support an abundance of wildlife. These field systems date back to the Bronze Age (4000 years ago) and are the oldest living artefacts in the world.
The Wild Cornwall workshops we are offering are:
Mon 15th – Basic Watercolour Skills
Tues 16th – Gelli Plate printmaking
Weds 17th – Creative Collage
Thurs 18th – Linocut printmaking
Fri 19th – En plein air painting
Tickets can be purchased through our ticket tailor link. Adults only
We look forward to you joining us in this immersive creative experience.
