Monsters of the Deep
Deep in the dark murky depths of the ocean bioluminescence dances and shadowy figures loom. Something’s there, but what?
150 Years of the Cutty Sark
On Monday 22 November 1869, 150 years ago, the Cutty Sark, one of the world’s most famous historic ships, was launched in Scotland. Our new exhibition, celebrating this anniversary, takes a closer look at the Cutty Sark’s time moored in the town.
James Dodds’ Wood to Water
This new exhibition of traditional boats of Falmouth showcases the masterful work of renowned maritime artist James Dodds. It features several new commissions including a Falmouth Pilot Cutter, which is the largest painting Dodds has ever undertaken.
Porthleven
Porthleven is a fishing village on the west coast of the Lizard Peninsula in Cornwall and takes centre stage in the Museum’s latest exhibition curated by the local community.
