About this event
Join acclaimed Outdoor Writer Natasha Carthew as she explores what it means to write in the wild, discussing inspiration/setting/characterisation/themes and symbolism in response to your surroundings using multi-sensory learning, whilst connecting to the natural environment around us. During this masterclass for all abilities, Natasha will explain the benefits of writing outside and how disconnecting from the wired world and being in nature can revitalise your work. This masterclass includes activities to stimulate observation and creativity whilst exploring nature around the Writers’ Block area, in order to produce a piece of creative writing inspired by our outdoor natural environment.
Please wear comfortable clothes and bring a notepad and pens/pencils.
