Why?
Muskets are a common sight in many period dramas, but how do you hold them and look the part? This course will show you how to handle and hold a musket safely and convincingly and we aim to take some cool pictures and video of you in action. Muskets aren’t just for men, they where also used by women across the globe.
What’s next?
When you complete you level 1 course you will be eligible to take the level 2 which pending paperwork allows you to take full control of the loading and firing process. Level 2 also looks at more advanced handling and moving techniques.
This course takes place outside and as such the weather can have a big impact of the course (it is not possible to fire in heavy rain).
Where possible we aim to run the course whatever the weather, but we may have to postpone at short notice.
Please note there is no public transport to the venue.
Swashbuckling Cornwall is providing a platform for promoting this course and is not delivering this training as a company, rather it is being delivered by qualified individuals who we work with.
