Quiet Gathering – Tanglewood Nature Walk

Join our quiet community for a guided nature walk!

Welcome to August’s Quiet Gathering! If you haven’t been to a quiet gathering before, then you are more than welcome to join us. This a chance for quieter, shy or introverted people to meet like-minded individuals in a safe and supportive environment. There is no judgement here and we have all experienced feelings of social anxiety, so know you are not alone! You are always welcome to stay with us for as little and as long as you like to.

ABOUT AUGUST QUIET GATHERING:
This month’s quiet gathering will take us to the beautiful family-run Wild Garden in Newbridge, Penzance called Tanglewood.

When: 15th Aug 2021 @ 10:30am
Where: Tanglewood Wild Garden, Newbridge, Penzance- Google Maps
What we’re doing: Guided Nature Walk and Picnic
What to bring/wear: The Reserve may be boggy in areas so stout footwear is recommended. Sun cream, water and your own food for a picnic.
Cost: £5 per Adult, £2 per Child, Under 5’s Free!

Tanglewood is full of local wildlife, has a calming feel, provides plenty of opportunities to rest and some very quirky installations to look at!

We will be taking a wander around the nature reserve and invite you to bring up along a picnic or some snacks for yourself so we can sit down and have a chance to observe the quiet wilderness, especially in the busy depths of the summer holidays!
Ellie will also be guiding us through some of the local wildlife and some of the things we can look out for, from plants to birds!
