About this event
Through printmaking and photography Alicia depicts the natural environment in a way that highlights the hidden and often overlooked beauty it holds. Raising awareness of environmental issues has always been at the core of her work. Alicia’s approach is to educate, inform and inspire others so that they understand and feel connected to the natural world. Her work hopes to encourage others to join in the celebration of nature and be more willing to partake in the efforts to protect the planet.
Her studio at Krowji is where Alicia spends her time hand printing her found foliage, sketching out new ideas and networking with her fellow creatives. You’ll be able to see Alicia’s latest finished work alongside work in progress and hopefully be inspired to look more closely at the hidden treasures that surround us on a daily basis.
