About this event
UNIT3 is an artist-led studio and project space based in the town of Lostwithiel in South-East Cornwall. As part of the Tresorys Cornwall project we are able to offer a 4 to 6 week residency opportunity to a Cornwall based emerging artist.
UNIT3 aims to: provide opportunities for local communities to engage with contemporary art, in both its making and exhibition; engage local students and young people with contemporary art practices that are new to them; and support and platform emerging artists.
The artist will lead 2 engagement workshops and an event to present their work and research from the residency to the public. These dates will be agreed with the artist once chosen for the residency.
Follow our link for further information and for details of the residency if you are interested in applying.
This project is funded by the UK Government through the UK Community Renewal Fund. Cornwall Council has been chosen by Government as a Lead Authority for the fund and is responsible for monitoring the progress of projects funded through the UK Community Renewal Fund in Cornwall.
