About this event
Join us for the 2022 “Only Connect!” symposium on the benefits of creative, intergenerational and inclusive practice and research. This three-day conference will bring together people living with dementia, care commissioners, creative practitioners, young people, national organisations and international representatives for intergenerational projects – creating a unique space for us to connect and challenge the barriers that face our communities.
We will be reflecting on the past three years, in and out of lockdowns, and celebrating the power of creativity to connect, rejuvenate and empower those who need it most. This year, we will be hosting an inspiring lineup of keynote speakers including Alison Cylde (CEO of Generations Working Together Scotland), Rich Bell (Head of Campaigns at The Cares Family) and Peter Daniels (Former Executive Director of Happiness at Humanitas Deventer). Early bird tickets will be on sale until the end of April – get them while they last!
This event is in partnership with: The Photobook Project, Sensory Trust, Cornwall Museum Partnership, Tate St Ives, University of Exeter, Grays Wharf Art Space, Cornwall Memory Cafes Network, The Cares Family, Falmouth University and Humanitas Deventer.
