About this event
In recognition of the feast of St Cecilia, the traditional patron of music and musicians, St Mary’s Singers present a programme of works that celebrate the saint’s expressed joy in music-making (featuring Benjamin Britten’s Hymn to St Cecilia). The choir shall perform together with soloists and a chamber ensemble.
St Mary’s Singers are the resident voluntary choir at Truro Cathedral.
The forty-strong chamber choir sing a range of music, both secular and sacred, from all centuries, medieval to present-day.
