About this event
Cornish comedian Matt Price’s solo show “Raging Bill” was a hit at the Edinburgh Festival 2022 where it was described by the harshest and most feared comedy critic Kate Copstick as, “A laugh out loud joy of an hour.”
Matt is now giving a performance of the show back home in Truro where it will be filmed in a city and venue that he loves.
Matt has been a comedian for twenty years and has performed in thirty countries including Australia, Russia and Cambodia.
He is known for being one of the best storytellers on the comedy circuit with his true tales, often from the wilder side of life, that are always funny.
The show covers the time he trained as an amateur boxer to win a trophy to honour the memory of his Grandad, Eric “Raging Bill” Price.
Matt also talks about being Cornish and growing up in Truro via Brixton, his political activist mother, Channel Foods Fish Factory (which burned down), his meetings with criminals and how years ago as a shy philosophy graduate, he spent 18 months learning how to fight. He also talks about weight loss, nursery rhymes and his fear of networking!
Please note that this performance will be filmed.
