About this event
The Jopes Mill Chamber Orchestra brings together professional musicians from Cornwall, Devon and beyond. The programme will include Mozart’s glorious 40th Symphony and his Sinfonia Concertante – a concerto for four wind instruments. Other works in the programme include Dvorak’s atmospheric Silent Woods for cello and orchestra, and the Romanian Folk Dances by Bartok. A rarity is music by the French baroque composer Rameau – possibly one of the most beautiful pieces you have never heard!
Bring a picnic and enjoy the beautiful riverside setting at Jopes Mill. There will be a pop-up wine bar from Looe Valley Vineyard.
