About this event
Soon after formation 100 years ago this year, the choir of the Polperro Fishermen was attracting huge congregations to Harvest of the Sea services, mainly because of their fellow fisherman and inspirational lay preacher, Tommy Mark, who became known as the Fishermen’s Bishop. The choir is still based in the Polperro chapel where it was formed in 1923 but we can’t bring back Tommy Mark. Instead, come and help recreate the experience with the choir and Richard ‘the Rev’ Allen on the Old Coal Wharf in Polruan (or in St Saviour’s Church if wet).
