About this event
Carol Davies’ work has evolved considerably over the past twenty years, from illustrative textile and card designs to large, impressionistic canvases of acrylic, impasto, mixed media, pastel and ink.
Previous commissions have collaborated with Hospice fundraising and mental health awareness campaigns plus design commissions for corporate spaces as well individual bespoke. After a period away from painting, she has returned with new ideas and a desire to connect with, and respond to, the landscape, light and inspiration that is West Cornwall. She moved from the North Coast a year ago and is evolving new techniques to open up the dialogue between the ‘truth’ of what we ‘see’ and the feelings engendered by the effects of light and landscape.
