About this event
Phil’s studio is perfectly nestled in the valley of New Mill, overlooking a colourful azalea garden and a paddock with horses. It’s easily accessible by car and has ample parking space.
Phil paints in oils on canvas and board; his bold brush strokes and palette knife marks capture the layers of land and the sea that surround him. Phil also paints scenes from Cornwall’s fishing and tin mining industries. His preferred colour palette is earthy, strong with a contemporary edge to his painting style.
This year Phil will be sharing his studio with Zoe Kovacs an accomplished sculptor and painter. Cream teas may be purchased on request, just find a nice spot in the sun or shade and enjoy.
