About this event
Join us for an evening of short ocean conservation documentaries in our signature social cinema style of Breathe – Watch – Discuss – Eat
We’ll be taking you on a journey, connecting you first to the beauty and wonders of our local waters and then delving into stories from fishermen, sustainable practices and inspiring a future of change!
Our signature formula incorporates mindful breathing at the start, settling the mind and connecting the room through one breath. After the documentaries we’ll facilitate a safe and respectful discussion. Getting people to chat and socialise, sharing their thoughts but also listening to what others in their community have to say. The night will conclude with a communal feast, where we’ll enjoy a vegan meal cooked by the chefs from the Seaweed Institute using local and seasonal produce from farmers who grow in sustainable ways (Along with a hefty amount of seaweed!)
This community focused event will leave you feeling inspired and connected to those you share this beautiful space with.
