About this event
I’m often out sketching or painting in West Penwith and am currently enjoying creating art in response to West Cornwall’s ancient sites and stone circles using a very ancient medium – encaustic wax. I created both abstract and representational work.
My studio is set in my beautiful rural garden at Bowl Rock, St Ives with wonderful views up to Trencrom Hill.
I will be sharing my garden with Michelle Foote and Kerry Grant who will be offering beautiful pottery, jewellery and watercolour paintings.
I am a member of the St Ives Arts Club and together with my artist friend Kerry run Cornwall Art Workshops where we offer a wide variety of creative courses. All of us at Bowl Rock will be running workshops during Open Studios.
My garden is on the Bronze Age footpath the St Michael’s Way, the garden is at its peak during open studios and visitors frequently comment on the peace, beauty and tranquility to be found here.
We will be offering refreshments and look forward to giving you a warm welcome. You are encouraged to come and spend time in the garden relaxing and enjoying the views.
Our work is varied and affordable and we are sure there will be something to interest everyone.
