Plus a short Saturday morning session for families 9am-10am
About this event
Starting at St Just library, we will walk via footpath to Bosavern Farm at dusk. Nick will then lead a walk around the farm, discussing and discovering nocturnal wildlife inhabiting the space. A moth lamp will be placed out for observations and moth identification throughout the evening. We also invite people to return the following morning with Nick to further identify the moths found in traps left out overnight. The morning session is ideal for people with small children who do not wish to stay late into the Friday evening. Warm drinks will be made available in the evening session. Please wrap up warm with layers and a hat, wear suitable footwear (wellies/ walking boots) and bring waterproofs. The event is free of charge due to funding made available by St Just Town Council.
Friday evening session: 8pm-midnight. Saturday morning session: 9am-10am.
