About this event
Gravity fascinates me. The theme of my work evokes the brink of gravity, the very edge of falling and an uncomfortable sense of foreboding! Thwarting gravity fascinates me even more; balance and counterbalance are the key figures in exploring the poised point, the apex of the fall…
My pieces are unique and, I am delighted to say, very collectable and they are limited to a maximum of twenty five a year.
Newlyn has many galleries, antique shops, cafes and a famous restaurant. There is a cinema showing avant-garde as well as new releases. Many artists and writers live in situ so many Open Studios to visit.
Accessibility
Details
There are two entrances and exits to the studio/gallery, one is approached from the Fradgan, the other through the park. Quite easy to access and both can be used as entrance and exit. Very sorry no disabled access available but an arrangement can be made to park close by.
Directions
Driving through Newlyn park in the carpark opposite the row of shops, or on road opposite row of shops. The Fradgan (signposted) is approached by walking past the park and turn right. There will be Open Studio posters displayed. Take the Mousehole bus from pz bus station, or en route, and disembark in front of clock tower in Newlyn, walk toward harbour/fish market.
