About this event
A warm welcome awaits you in the garden studio, where you will find an inspiring collection of two artists’ work: Kathy Warren’s paintings, collage and cards and Fiona Pullen’s seasonally inspired creative displays and textile work.
Fiona is influenced by cyclical patterns in nature. Having reflected upon her connection to the Celtic wheel of the year, Fiona has explored how each season brings different energies to her work. This is recorded through journals, sketchbooks, embroidery and botanical crafts.
Cards, small pieces of textile art and slow stitch kits will be available from £3 along with an informal ‘sit-and-stitch’ should you wish to join in.
Fiona is a founder member of Helford Artists collective, a small group of artists who live and work by the Helford river across a variety of mediums, all of whom will be participating in Open Studios this year, forming a short circuit ideal for visiting within the same day. Close by are Trebah and Glendurgan gardens, the Helford River and its swimming beaches, the Budock Vean Hotel and the Ferryboat Inn.
