Join us for February Half-term activities at Kresen Kernow!

Join us for February half-term and take part in free, fun, family activities and crafts inspired by our current exhibition ‘Wrecks and Rescues’.

Have a go on our stomp rocket and see if you can reach the ships in distress in our competitive game, inspired by Henry Trengrouse, whose ‘rocket apparatus’ saved thousands of lives.

Plus, our popular shipwreck treasure trail is back – can you find all the ‘treasure’ from a shipwreck?

There’s also a chance to see our ‘Wrecks and Rescues’ exhibition, which features original documents telling Henry Trengrouse’s story and ends this month.

The Stomp Rocket Game is on Tuesday 14 and Thursday 16 February, 10 – 12pm.

The shipwreck trail is available during our usual opening hours (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday, 9.30 – 4pm).

Drop-in, no need to book, all ages welcome.

Accessibility

Details

Kresen Kernow is fully wheelchair and pushchair accessible, with lifts to all levels and automatic main entrance doors. Accessible toilets are available on both floors, with a fully-equipped Changing Places toilet also available on the ground floor. Separate baby changing facilities are also available on the ground floor. If you are arriving by vehicle, there are six accessible parking spaces at the Tesco side of the building and a level entrance into the building. If you are arriving on foot or wheels, from Redruth town centre, the closest entrance is at the end of the public path which runs through the old brewery site, from Chapel Street to Kresen Kernow.
