Ruthie Weaver BSc. (Hons) is a local medical herbalist with over 13 years experience working with clients in her practice to offer integrated and holistic healthcare service.
In this fascinating talk we will be covering an introduction to plant medicine – what it is and how it works. We will take a look at the history of medicine and science as well as the lost heritage of folk medicine that was practice by wise women (and indeed men) who were culled in the witch trials. We will discuss the modern conventional healthcare system as well as how modern herbalists practice, what is a clinical or medical herbalist and finally- how you can support your health at home using herbs and much more/
