About this event
Join artist Haegue Yang and Anne Barlow, Director, Tate St Ives with invited guests in conversation around the exhibition Strange Attractors at Tate St Ives until 26 September.
Supported by the Goethe-Institut London.
This online event will feature a conversation between Haegue Yang, artist, and Anne Barlow, Director of Tate St Ives and curator of Strange Attractors. They will be discussing the development of the exhibition and the inspiration Yang found on her visits to Cornwall to prepare for the show.
In the second half of the event, we are pleased to host contributions from three respondents, giving their perspectives on Yang’s work in relation to their practices. Thank you to Lara Goodband, Contemporary Art Curator & Programmer, RAMM, Exeter; Abigail Reynolds, an artist based in Cornwall; and Natalia Sidlina, Curator, International Art, Tate Modern.
We would be delighted to hear questions from the audience in the final part of the event.
