Jacqui Callis is selling thematically linked, mixed media pieces.
The work features lino prints, recycled copper wire and hessian, pressings and sometimes incorporating reclaimed glass, copper foil and solder.
It’s shown in W12, an almost hidden studio halfway up the stairs from the Krowji cafe. W12 is transformed into a calm, meditative environment that many liken to a Sanctuary, enabling the work to facilitate conversations and openness.
The work is an expression of a search for harmony and balance in the world with content that is largely symbolic, driven by intention.
