About this event
Another chance to catch a glimpse of the future!
King Charles III by Mike Bartlett (2014) is regarded as a future history play and written in digestible blank verse. Set in the days following the death of Queen Elizabeth II audiences are invited behind-closed-doors into The Palace and No 10 to witness an insightful, gritty royal family power struggle. Royalist or republican you will relish this intimately staged mock Shakespearean drama which examines political dynamics, royal rebellion and ascending ambition.
Enjoy the experience of Sterts’ unique tented amphitheatre, you can picnic in the grounds before the show starts and don’t forget your cushions, those benches in the Palace aren’t very comfortable!
