About this event

Contemplative, evocative abstract landscapes in both oils and watercolours in a peaceful garden studio between Redruth and Truro.

I paint and draw intuitively, both from sketches made in the landscape and responses to direct experience of landscape and what the paint or pencil are doing on the paper. I then refine and compose as the work reveals itself. I am interested in exploring the idea of “thin places” where heaven and earth meet and finding ways to express beliefs and ideas in paint.

I am looking forward to welcoming you to my garden studio, coffee and tea will be available. The studio is conveniently situated between Redruth and Truro, within easy reach of the A30 and A39.

Directions

From Truro go right through Chacewater, turn off towards United Downs then left at the crossroads. From Redruth, turn right to St Day at Scorrier, follow the road until you reach the crossroads at St Day. Turn left and then second right.
