Paintings, high quality digital prints, drawings, narrative genre, greeting cards and refreshments!
My studio overlooks the courtyard and gardens of the Trewidden complex … it is based upstairs. My work is of a narrative nature, I often use familial photographs or images that I can recreate and reimagine the context, landscape and tell a story. I weave in new textures, atmospheres and imagery to tell my own story… I am a storyteller. I often use flowers as a fallback, they are my go to, as a subject when the imagination is lacking, the colours and shapes are always challenging but rewarding and a reassuring continuum of the seasons.
I have also been working with the original painted image and inverting it on the computer (image becomes opposite colour) and then digital printing onto high quality watercolour paper. I also have a variety of greeting cards for sale!
The studio complex is based in the grounds of Trewidden Gardens which are open to the public there is plenty of parking and an excellent cafe, Trewidden Tea rooms, which has a varied menu for breakfast, lunch, coffees & cakes. There will be a number of studios available to view
