Simone studied Singing at the Conservatoire in Basel Switzerland and has, since moving to Cornwall in 1998, performed in Opera productions locally and in numerous concerts around Cornwall and the world: as far as London, the Glastonbury Festival, Ireland, Dubai, Hong Kong and Macau. Her repertoire ranges from opera to lied to oratorio; she has a special love for Schumann, Schubert, Strauss and Mozart.
Rico is a ubiquitous pianist, accompanist, organist and composer. He started playing the piano at age 10, organ at 14 and has been composing since his early years. He worked as Organist and Music Teacher at Michaelhouse School in South Africa before moving to the UK in 2000 where he has been involved in accompanying Mabe Ladies Choir, Stithians Ladies Choir and Newquay Choral Scociety, as well as a number of local soloists and also played many solo recitals. He has conducted Madame Butterfly, Cavalaria Rusticana and The marriage of Figaro at the Minack Theatre and in the Hall for Cornwall as MD of New Cornwall Opera. His favourite sound is silence.
