About this event
This uplifting Journal For Joy workshop at The Working Boat in Falmouth is designed to:
– Give you space to try joyful creative journaling (and feel the wellbeing benefits!)
– Help you reconnect with nature after the long winter
– Inspire you make the most of this special season
– Connect you with lovely like-minded people over a tasty lunch with harbour views
We’ll first settle in with a tea or coffee and a quick intro talk from Hannah (writer, author & founder of Journal For Joy) about the simple-but-powerful practice of journaling and how it can bring more joy to our lives.
Then, alongside a small group of likeminded people in our own private section of the pub, Hannah will guide you to complete a series of feel-good journaling prompts all on the theme of the wonders of nature in the springtime season! There will be a mix of writing, drawing and mindfulness activities – no experience necessary. If the weather allows we’ll head outside to complete some of them for an extra nature wellbeing boost!
There will also be the opportunity to share and discuss your journal entries, to spread the joy and find moments of connection with each other too.
All you’ll need to bring is your favourite journal and some pens/pencils.
After we’ve finished the journaling at around 12.00pm, you can take your pick from The Working Boat’s artisan sandwich menu and enjoy a tasty lunch with your fellow workshop participants beside the sea.
You ticket includes the journaling workshop, a cup of tea or coffee and lunch from the sandwich menu (vegetarian and vegan options are available).
Send Hannah an email on [email protected] if you have any questions.
