A podcast exploring the folklore and history of Devon and Cornwall.

The Piskie Trap is a new series that explores the folklore, history and legends from all across Devon and Cornwall. From stories of ghosts, witches, piskies, mermaids, giants and more, to forgotten aspects of the regions’ history and local storytelling traditions. Through chats with folklorists, historians, storytellers and people who have personal connections to the legends, people or places we’ll delve a little deeper to try and understand where these stories come from, what meaning can we take from them, and why they are still relevant today.
