About this event
Figurative drawings, collages and prints using graphite, pencils, pencil crayons and pastels.
My drawing hand was re-ignited in 2014 when living in Barcelona, Spain after not drawing for 25 years. After I found a life-drawing studio I began to explore, experiment and learn through drawing, this journey is never-ending. With Lockdown I was forced to work via Zoom and photographs, but prefer a 3 dimensional reality rather than a rectangle. I am really fascinated by and often fail at drawing movement/dance.
have lived and worked on my lovely widebeam canal boat in the Millbrook Estuary since March 2023. Space is limited inside but you can sit on the shore deck to enjoy the estuary views if there are too many visitors when you arrive. My kettle is always ready to make tea…
Accessibility
Details
Wheelchair access is challenging but not impossible, as there is a gangplank to cross and then 5 steep steps to enter my boat. Inside it is a ten foot wide room as it is widebeam, not a narrowboat. The venue has limited on site parking.
Directions
I am moored in the Millbrook estuary with a gangplank to the shore. Find The Multihullcentre in googlemaps. As you approach the Multihullcentre on Mill Lane I am the second canal boat moored on your right hand side, parking is limited. WALKING: From Plymouth Royal William Yard catch the Cremyll Ferry to Mt Edgecumbe, bear right to follow the foot path along the shore, until you reach the dam across the Millbrook Estuary, cross over it, keep right, when you reach the road, turn right until you find the second canal boat on your right hand side.
