About this event
Join us for a May Bank Holiday event that celebrates Cornish Culture, Crafts and Heritage…in the lovely setting of the former Priory of St Andrew in Tywardreath.
Music will include popular Shanty Singers Rum & Shrub, lively Cornish tunes from Heb Mar, traditional folk with Ryp an Mor, capella vocals from Kescana, ukelele vibes and the rhythm of the samba …along with Morris Dancing, storytelling, Cornish language and a host of activities including foraging walks, pottery, tile-painting and willow-weaving.
Our living history stalls will bring to life traditional skills such as bee-keeping, wood-carving, spinning, weaving, knitting the traditional Cornish gansey and an insight into life in Romano-British times in Cornwall.
Taking place on the 25th & 26th May this family friendly fund-raising event has something for everyone ….including a barbecue, home-baked cakes and Cornish brewed ales.
A fun-packed weekend that raises money for local causes.
