How to Develop and Sell Broadcast TV ideas
This interactive webinar, hosted by Ted Oakes, owner and MD of Oak Island Films & Cornwall Film Festival will help you to find, develop and present TV ideas. Whether you are seeking work experience at a production company or are already established in the industry, this session will help you develop your own ideas, using your own areas of expertise.
The format will be a short Masterclass followed by Q&A chat with the audience so come loaded with questions!

About Ted
Ted Oakes is the owner and Managing Director of Oak Island Films, a television production company based in Bristol, UK and Canada. He is an award-winning Executive Producer with 20 years’ experience in the BBC Natural history Unit and since 2017 at Oak Island films. Ted developed and produced millions of pounds of business including the BBC’s Gordon Buchanan-fronted ‘Family & Me’ strand. He has a PhD is from Oxford University and previously worked as a wildlife biologist, lecturer and public speaker.

Who is this webinar for?
Anyone who is interested in developing and selling ideas for TV. You do not have to be based in the UK to attend or already work in the industry. This webinar will be in English.
